The 'Rod Christensen Trend' easily keep an audience entertained and toes tapping with their super blend of Swing Jazz, Latin (including Latin Jazz) and smooth Groove.
The band are versatility plus, with Rod Christensen combining smooth Vocals with instrumentals on Piano,
Saxophone, Flute, Trumpet and Trombone, Mark Finter with his unique Guitar and Vocal styles, Keryn Christensen providing solid Bass feels and back-up vocals, all complimented by the skilful drumming of Brett Newman.
The band's repertoire includes a mix of originals, contemporary songs, and their own 'very different' versions of many all-time classics.
The 'Rod Christensen Trend' can perform as either a Trio or Quartet to suit the circumstances or budget. The band performs at clubs, taverns, festivals, winerys, restaurants, markets and also for corporate functions, weddings and private parties.
